On a mission to provide humane, consistent, and responsible care

We work to minimise the number of animals born into adversity by leading ethical Animal Birth Control (ABC) programs, providing medical support, sheltering injured and abandoned animals, and building safer, calmer communities

PRITHVI ANIMAL WELFARE SOCIETY

We are a Chennai-based non-profit committed to improving the lives of street dogs and stray cats through humane Animal Birth Control, medical care, sheltering, and rehabilitation.

What began in 2014 as a small group of animal lovers determined to care for community animals, has grown into an organisation with structured programs, a dedicated shelter campus in Kovalam, and a team working every day to create long-term, humane change.

We officially registered as an NGO in September 2021 and continue to expand our impact with steady, responsible, and compassionate action.
